I really love this bag for a couple reasons, namely that it’s classic Fendi and that it’s great for a night out. The two compartments mean you leave one mainly closed with things you’ll need but won’t want to reach for often, and another front compartment is perfect for quick access. The front quilted flap at black is really good too, this is just a great bag at a great price. The 2Jours remains among the most well-known Fendi bags and I really like a good blue tote. This one is cerulean-blue calfskin and it’s calling my name.I’ve always enjoyed the Dotcom for just how functional it is, providing a detachable clutch and ample distance. Fendi has a few of their best color combos, and this slate tote with it’s yellow top manage, red edge paint, and beige interior is not any different. I have numerous friends who adore mini backpacks, and while it is still not completely me, I really like this bag. The black with gold studs is a great combo and it’s both eye-catching and easy at the same time. Located over 90 decades, Fendi stays a brand synonymous with experimentation, exclusivity and invention. With Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi at the helm, the new has grown from strength to strength with a distinguishing aesthetic that fuses classic silhouettes with contemporary flourishes.

I am not great at maintaining any type of New Year’s resolutions, so I did not set any personal ones. Nonetheless, it’s easier for me to place them when it comes to bags (obviously I’m a true bag girl at heart), and one of my specialist resolutions for 2018 is to bring you longer Purseonals and general bag testimonials. What better way to kick off the New Year than with a new bag and an in-depth review? Here’s your first look at my new Fendi Peekaboo, a handbag that I’ve lusted after for a long time than I can count. When this tote entered the accessory world, it quickly made it’s way to the classic category. The Peekaboo is quintessentially Fendi, and will always be a staple for the brand.I LOVE the way this tote appears. It combines elegance with casualness in a manner that many bags can’t, and because of that it matches my personal aesthetic well. It is easy to lump bags to”dressy” or”everyday,” and lots of do give themselves to a single classification or another, but that I find that the Peekaboo to function either way. That’s particularly true because Fendi offers the bag in so many variations, from large and detailed to little and simple. The understated trapezoid arrangement is immediately classic: it doesn’t taper too thin to the top, but still offers a sleek, recognizable form. There is just one top handle, which I value over normal double top handles, and an optional shoulder strap (which doesn’t add anything aesthetically, but is a complete must-have). The hardware on the front of the bag is a bronze color (this changes with each bag’s color blend ) that somehow seems even prettier with every new light I see it in.

  • The Fendi Peekaboo got its name as leaving the tote unclasped provides glimpse at the interior. Most interiors offer offsetting colors, patterns, and the once incredibly hard-to-get monster eyes (this version is still accessible, and I still kind of love –buy it ).One of the greatest elements about the Peekaboo is just how many choices there are – so many colors, sizes, materials, and mixes. This overwhelms me a bit as I’ve wanted a Peekaboo for a lot of years and wound up not going for it because I kept waiting to find the right one. Fendi talented me this tote and allow me to pick the color, and this color is severely so stunning, I do not even know all the ideal words to give it. Is that normal? When there are quite a few sizes, I opted for the regular, and I can say it’s just perfect. Dimensions are 13″L x 10.2″ H x 4.7″W. This is large enough to match my everyday essentials (actually, I put a couple diapers and a small wipe case inside this bag and it worked perfectly) and never be too big. I’ve lots of huge bags, but I did not need my Peekaboo to become huge–I was seeking the perfect size, and this is it.The bag is split into two compartments and separated by a stiff partition. Front of the partition has a zip pocket, however I find that pocket hard to get into. I haven’t had the bag long enough, so it might give with more wear, but in which the zipper pocket is situated makes my hands hit the turnlock clasp closure, which sits directly over the pocket. That is probably the largest functionality fault with this tote. You could fit an iPhone+ in there, but it is only easy for me to get out should I place my iPhone in longways and do not zip the compartment. An alternative for zip pocket (and truthfully, I really don’t love most small inside zip pockets) would be to place something inside you will need but do not necessarily have to access regularly. By way of example, I carry an EpiPen for Millie, and it fits perfectly in that compartment and I really really like putting it –I could get to it when I want it, but I do not want it immediately accessible, such as my wallet and keys.

  • I rely on my accessories–but mainly my handbag–to spruce up my ensemble, and now I am in luck, but so are you, since Fendi is getting a major sale. Yes, you heard me right: most of my beloved Fendi bags now are up for grabs at around 50% off their original price, and what better way to spruce up last season’s warm weather pieces than simply by picking up a new bag? You can shop early access to the entire Fendi women’s sale here, exclusively for PurseBlog subscribers, or check out my favourite picks below. To gift something particular to the guy in your life shop the men’s sale , and in case your littles want something too check out what is on sale for children too. I love every time a brand hones in on a fixed number of bag designs which are functioning and reinvents them into fresh colorways, sizes and materials each season. Fendi is one of the brands that is best at doing this; the brand has a fixed amount of large designs for your house and rather than churning out innumerable new designs, they stick with their bread and butter and every couple of seasons will deliver a new, large design in. The moment Fendi introduced the Kan Iloved it. The layout did well upon it’s launch that Fendi had difficulty keeping it in stock. Like many other Fendi classics, the Kan I’m offered in a wide variety of options, and like lots of other Fendi bags, I’m always searching for the new favourite. I found a variant that is not what I’d usually choose, but I love it nonetheless. This pink Fendi Kan I is what spring dreams are made of, with the most vibrant hue of pink leather, adorned with pink balls and darkish whipstitching, which offers a nice contrast. There’s an almost vacation feel to the style, like you can take this on New Year’s Eve but you could also take it on a picnic and it could be ideal foreground fodder to your ideal spring Instagram pic.

  • Few bags introduced in the last decade have had the staying power the Fendi 2Jours (literally”two days”) leather shopper has enjoyed. I kept hoping that it might fade in popularity so that I could buy the bag in my color-of-choice on sale, or it would become so ubiquitous that I’d lose interest in it. But it’s no toy tote : with three compartments (two open, separated by a zippered center compartment), the bag will accommodate all of the essentials and a few optional items. I normally throw in the following (and have space to spare): a full-sized wallet, a pair of sunglasses in its case, a cosmetic bag, a smart phone, keys, a few bags of candy, a massive hair brush, and a mid-sized pouch that includes all of the loose items that I choose to deliver with me.At a little less than two pounds empty, the tote is fairly lightweight despite the sturdy structure and all of the hardware. While I’m not normally drawn to mixed-media bags, I thought how the 2Jours had been designed is so effortless and compatible. The front and rear panels are done in a saffiano leather, while the gussets are built of smooth leather.

  • Fendi has been focusing on the importance of this bag and seems to be keeping all Peekaboo sales to its own online store. I can’t locate a Peekaboo on another retailer, but there’s a plethora on Fendi.com. And I can attest to the gorgeous packaging that the tote comes from: a fantastic yellow Fendi box that opens to show off your Peekaboo. I always love the experience of unboxing a tote (view my unbox my Peekaboo here) as it adds to the experience, and this bag is beautiful from start to finish. So eager to share that Fendi has some fresh bags for Fall Winter 2018 (landing in shop shelves around September 2018 onwards). There’s the Fendi Double F bag, which is essentially a larger, more functional version of this (miniature – sized) Dual Baguette. You see that tiny circular charm attached to the Dual F tote over? I am also so pleased to mentiom that the Fendi Peekaboo tote has evolved to become so incredibly mild! I have held back on purchasing a Peekaboo for the longest time in the past due to its weight. But the new Peekaboo X Lite keeps the original shape and appearance, but the middle frame was eliminated, which makes it the ideal bag! They come in different colorways but my heart yearns for the taupe one with all the colour – comparison interior… ok I can’t pick between that and the Zucca monogram interior. There will also be the classic Fendi peekaboos that have a white coated canvas cover that it is easy to detach with the central twistlock.Nothing gives me an instance of the shoppies quite enjoy a change of seasons. The temps are finally warming up here in NYC, so I’m finally able to start breaking out my old favorites such as my go-to flow-y dresses, sleeveless tops and lived-in denim shorts.

    • This tote, like last season’s version, provides the versatility of being able to take the tote two ways: over the shoulder using the longer strap, or taken by hand using the top handle strap. I’ve said it many times earlier, but there is nothing better than a bag which does double duty. Both straps are also fully removable, so you may leave both on or use one at a time. The Fendi Kan I F in Whipstitched Logo Leather retails for $3,590, and you can shop the entire Kan I collection through Fendi. I missed that chance (allowed, she had been born in the end of November and the last thing on my mind was locking in a limited edition bag), but today it’s something I’ll consider when we have our next child. Many brands partake in capsule sets across Chinese New Year, and Fendi just shared its own with us for this year–it is really great, and we have the exclusive video preview for you. With lots of the items in red, a color special to Chinese culture that represents good fortune and pleasure, Fendi created some of its most adored things in bold crimson hues and new designs, including the coveted mini Kan I Bag and a limited variant Bag Bug.The scalloped borders on the small Fendi Kan I’m magnificent and further accentuated by studs in shades of pink. I kept stopping the video to test it out, and was pleased to find the bag can be obtained for pre-order online today for $2,100. There is a few little leather goods in crimson with LOVE spelled out in studs, such as this flat clutch and this continental wallet with a chain. Another fun thing is this Teen Witches bag charm that has dangling metal legs.

    • The different textured leathers as well as also the gold-tone trimmings add visual interest, but since the leathers are tonal, the entire concept remains in stability. (if you’re indifferent about or strongly dislike the mixed-leather concept, the 2Jours can be offered in a version with all smooth leather exterior.) For me, the appeal of the 2Jours is its simplicity, enhanced by subtle touches of whimsy. By way of instance, I’m not typically a fan of dangling tags, but the shield-shaped tag fully complements the geometry of the bag. (You can also get the label monogrammed at Fendi boutiques, which I can do at some point.) However, you do not have to pay whole cost for this bag, since Fendi generally participates in department store gift card occasions. Seasonal colors always go on the market, and even”classic” colours like black can be located during end-of-season earnings (especially when the bag undergoes a redesign, no matter how insignificant the changes really are ). You can also purchase through a European socket (like Italist) to take advantage of VAT refunds and favorable exchange prices. Finally, most discounters, such as Century 21 and Gilt, will probably have the tote in an odd color or two on sale at any moment.
