The different textured leathers and also the gold-tone trimmings add visual appeal, but because the leathers are tonal, the entire concept remains in harmony. (If you are indifferent about or strongly dislike the mixed-leather concept, the 2Jours can be offered in a model with all smooth leather exterior.) By way of instance, I’m not usually a fan of hanging tags, however, the shield-shaped tag fully complements the geometry of the bag. (it is also possible to get the tag monogrammed at Fendi boutiques, which I can do at some stage.) However, you do not have to pay whole cost for this bag, because Fendi normally participates in department store gift card occasions. Seasonal colors constantly go on the market, and even”classic” colours such as black could be located during end-of-season earnings (particularly when the bag undergoes a redesign, however insignificant the changes are). You can also order through an European socket (like Italist) to make the most of VAT refunds and favorable exchange rates. Lastly, most discounters, like Century 21 and Gilt, will likely have the bag in an odd color or two on sale at any time.

  • The Kan I design became an instant ladylike classic, and I’d really like to add it to my collection. While this specific version is not on site however, there is a similar model for $2,490 in Fendi.com at the moment. Check out all the luggage (there are plenty of other pretty pinks and blues; Fendi blue might be my favourite!) In Fendi here. A couple of months ago we have a first look at one of Fendi’s newer bags, The Kan I F. You guys had a few things to say about it–a whole lot, to be precise! One thing is for certain it sounds: you either love the Fendi Kan I F bag or you simply can not stand it. For Spring 2018, Fendi remixes the Kan I F and presents an all-leather, all-over-logo version. Love it or loathe it, an individual can not deny that this tote is bold. The shape of the bag could be one we have seen before, but the remixed version has particulars unlike its predecessor. For starters, the all-over logo leather isn’t smooth, and it kind of textures embossed because the Fs are textured and raised. That detailing and of itself makes the tote super cool on it’s own, but then you add the whipstitched detailing which adorns the sides of bag, and the little leather ribbons, and you have suddenly got a exceptional bag that’s more than simply a typical logo look.Fendi’s Spring 2018 collection relied heavily on using its logo, and this bag, it is apparent the Fendi logo is back and better than ever. This is a bag that I would love to add to my growing collection. I usually reach for neutrals, and though this bag does come in a neutral colour, I am obsessed with the red and tan version. One of all my favourite things about this bag is still the simple fact that among those Fs on the top grip strap is golden while the other is silver. I often get annoyed when I have on contrasting jewelry, so it is pretty cool–and unique–this bag has both gold and silver on it. The design is really structured and retains its shape well. It is almost a little rigid, but I imagine it will loosen a bit with use. Overall, the quality of this bag shows, down to every last detail.

    • The Peekaboo is the most expensive line of Fendi bags. This is due to the high quality and craftsmanship that goes into the plan. The regular Peekaboo in calfskin is $4,200 (that’s the bag I have the Micro version begins at $1,290, the Mini at $3,200, and you will find men’s bags too (there was a big, but I do not see it around Fendi.com). The price is high compared to the typical designer handbag price point, but this is also a classic tote, made to be used for years to come. Because I have watched the video on how this bag is made and understand firsthand how well it’s made, the cost is not as jarring. Plus, I really don’t read many people having quality issues with their Fendi luggage like I do with other manufacturers in this price. All of that being said, it is still one of the more expensive leather bags on the market, so the worth group comes right down a bit for it. This bag readily gets a 5 for remaining power; it is one of few bags that managed to leap onto the scene and also make people go mad, fade away a bit, and then return and be as important as ever. This tote is a cornerstone for the brand and is now interchangeable with Fendi bags. Total this bag gets 4 stars. The Peekaboo is perfect as an everyday tote, a work bag, a weekend purse, and outside. I really like the size I’ve (regular), and couldn’t love the colour more if I tried to!If you wish to know a number of my other favorite Peekaboo bags out there right now, these all make the record: that black with golden studs is really fashionable, the white monster!!! , this classic men’s version which many women elect for, this Micro version has ever been a favorite, I love Fendi blues, and you can’t fail with one of the classic regulars like mine.

    • The quality of each and every material, from the hardware, to the leather, into the interior lining, is as lavish as every other bag I own. I also really enjoy the stitching on the bag, and the inside is just as well-constructed since the exterior. The single thing I am still figuring out on my particular bag with the structure is the peekaboo facet. You will find leather tabs on the surface of the tote that attach the front and the back with a metallic pop-in. If you unlatch the front of the bag is able to provide more to expose the middle partition, which gives the peekaboo impact the bag is termed after. However, my tote does not easily show the center, as most photographs show. I have tried to unlatch the sides to permit for additional give, but it hasn’t really done the trick. I believe 2 things come into play here: 1) my bag is still really new, so the leather has not had time to split into fall a bit and 2) that the peekaboo effect works better on the large-size bag. I know for sure as the tote gets smaller the peeking effect doesn’t happen too much, but it’s something to keep in mind if you really want that to show. With this in mind, I did reach out to the Fendi team and they affirmed some of my own thoughts sharing that although the Peekaboo in regular size is highly structured, the leather will soften overtime and should you unbutton the sides you’ll be able to further attain the peeking effect. Fendi’s Selleria (Cuoio Romano) leather is much softer, and will obviously have a more different peeking effect, even at the regular size. It doesn’t bother me much, because my tote looks really beautiful how it is and I do not want the leather to overeat.
