Fendi is bringing its A game in the luxury backpack industry with its trendy Raised Backpacks.
Now what’s so special about this backpack? Well, well it’s the first of its own that features raised quilting. What wait? Hang in there; this might sound unfamiliar since it’s a complete new quilting in the fashion world. We’re betting that other brands will follow this timeless style of quilting. This special kind of quilting is further accentuated and finished off by palladium finish accessories.
Described to be a mini backpack with soft leather, this one goes beyond its aesthetic features. It has a zipped front flat pocket for effortless organization that is finished with a mini metal stud that can come in handy and act as a D-ring.
It also offers a handle for easy hand carrying and soft adjustable shoulder straps with chain insert for a more comfortable backpack carrying.
Measuring 21 x 24 x 10 (L x H x D) cm and is priced $2300 USD, €1750 euro, ¥264600 JPY via Fendi boutiques.
For example, I carry an EpiPen for Millie, and it fits perfectly in that compartment and that I actually really like placing it–I can get to it when I want it, however, I don’t want it immediately available, such as my keys and wallet. The 2 main compartments are sizable and match a continental zip wallet, which will be my wallet of selection. The two sections are easy to enter, and owing to the light tan interior (that is only on the center partition– front and back of the bag are all lined in microsuede), it’s easy to see what’s inside of each. The bag sits well on my body, and I always use the shoulder strap. The cool thing is you can change up the bag with one of those numerous Fendi straps available, though any removable strap will get the job done. The strap the bag comes with is not too slim, so that it sits well in your shoulder. Whether carried by the top handle or strap, the bag remains easy to get in and out of, and as a consequence of the ideal sizing, I haven’t found myself having to dig long to get what I am looking for.The only other drawback is this bag is on the thicker side. I started paying more attention to the burden of my bags as I’ve gotten old – which I guess is a sign of my aging too. The center partition together with the rigid top adds extra weight together with the microsuede and leather lined interior. If I were to find a bigger size, I could see this being a problem, but at the normal size, it does not affect my use of this bag.
